I’m very confused.
About 6 months ago, a friend of mine went on about a 1200 calorie hunger diet. Only eating salad, soup, turkey sandwiches, fruit, yogurt, and lean pockets (no Beverages other than water), he lost about 20 pounds over six weeks. He also played about an hour of tennis each day. He noted that he was hungry all the time, and lost a little over 3 pounds a week.
We all told him that at that calorie intake, he would gain all the weight back. But he didn’t listen to us. We even had a bet going, and I just lost 50 bucks.
He didn’t gain any of the weight back. We’ve been going out to eat buffalo wings and pizza everyday, but he is still at the same weight he was. He said he eats over 2500 calories a day.
He doesn’t excercise at all other than a very LAZY hour of tennis every other day.
Are all nutritionists just crazy? I’m thinking about going on this diet myself! losing 20 pounds in 6 weeks sounds awesome.
Unless anyone gives me a good explanation of why I shouldn’t, I’m going on this diet!, more
